One Pot: Cajun Rotisserie Chicken Pasts

This is a quick meal for anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time during the week to make dinner. Get dinner on the table in 30 minute. Plus its super affordable!

Ingredients

3 cups chicken/veggie broth

3/4 cup cream

1/2 box of pasta (bow tie)

1 onion diced

3 garlic cloves diced

2-3 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

2 bay leaves

2 cups rotisserie chicken

Green onion

1/2 cup Parmesan


Spices

2 tsp smoked paprika

2 tsp oregano

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

2 bay leaves


instructions

  1. Heat up oil in a pan and add onion and garlic till fragrant. Add in butter and chicken. Stir over medium heat.

  2. Add in spices except bay leaves. Add in pasta, stock and cream. Add in bay leaves and bring to a boil.

  3. Once at a boil bring down to a simmer and cover. Cook around 10 minutes till pasta is tender.

  4. Add in 2 tbsp of flour and cook till flour starts to thicken sauce. Add in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan. Top with green onions.
